In the Studio....
As 'Not Mine' is nearing completion, we are hungry to get in the studio to smash out the rest of our album. We are currently working with some great new material which will definately be making the album due out later this year. Another thing we are toying with is album title...and we would be honoured if you would throw us some ideas either as comments or messages on our myspace, facebook or reverbnation pages.
Of course this doesnt come without winning something.... so... if you hit us with the title idea, then we will definately be sending you a signed copy of our new album!!

Rocking back at Home!
his Saturday night XtortYa will be heading home to Two Rcoks WA to rock out at the Two Rocks Tavern. It will be the first show XtortYa has played there and we look forward to seeing all of you there rocking out!
In the studio 'Not Mine' is getting the vocals smashed out and we are pumped to trow a teaser up here ASAP!

Rocket Room
A HUGE thanx to everyone that worked with us to tear the stage apart at the Rocket Room on Saturday night. What a show!! You guys and gals were awesome! Also a big thanx to the Cameo thieves for haveing Daz and Azza cameo on stage rocking out some great tunes with the boys!
On the album front, there is recording and producing goin on like crazy here in the lab, and we are damn excited with everything hitting the desk. For all you STREET TEAM members, we have given you a FREE download of DJ Leejays remix of our unreleased track 'For You' so if your not a Street Team member.... well.....what are you waiting for?! There is also a competition running with Street Team members where you can win a XtortYa EP Featuring our currently unreleased 'For You'.

Busy...
1stly a huge thanx to all of you that showed your support for the Fire Relief show this month. A lot was raised and a great time was had by all. A huge shout out to all the bands that turned it up at the Railway to make an awesome night!!
In the studio things are heating up with Not Mine being finished and our next Newie 'Cant Take This' hitting tape as we speak. We will be uploading some beat-teasers and so forth over the coming weeks to keep you updated with what new sounds are developing from the XY studio.

Fire Relief
XtortYa will be rocking out with 10 other awesome bands on 2 stages this March 20th @ the Railway Hotel, Fremantle as part of the Victorian Bushfire Aid. A lot of Australian men and women risked their lives and many lost them in persuit of saving hundreds of innocent people. We hope all our Perth fans will head down and show support for some of our country's bravest heroes
Not Mine has returned from Kens lab and vocals are being cut as we speak, this is bound to be a huge song and we are busting to get a sampler up there for you all as soon as we can.
Also dont forget to join up the XtortYa Street Team. We will be having a few new competitions giving away some songs, merch and more in the coming weeks, so hurry and sign up to be included in the running!!
Not Mine
Our new track 'Not Mine' is prepping to hit the ever capable hands of Mr. Ken Lewis any day now and we are really looking forward to giving you guys a listen
We have decided rather then to release track by track over the coming months, we will lunch our entire album later this year Digitally and physically. But we will be putting samplers up here and there to give you a taste of what is to come.
This Februrary 22nd XtortYa will be playing at Oldham Reserve in Yanchep as part of a Breast Cancer awareness event. Those of you that would like to show your support to the cause we urge you to head down and enjoy a huge day of fun and rock

Our New Years Revolution show at the Rosemount Hotel in Perth WA on Saturday was awesome and a huge thanx to all the bands involved and to those that rocked the floor with us. We have our Single launch in the pipeline now and will be announcing the official date for the show shortly. Also the Youth Festival in Pt Headland WA has been postboned until late March 2009, as more details become available on the dates we will post them up.
The pix section is still under fire at the moment with a few little bugs o be sorted out, but we are working on them as fast as we can, thanx for your patience
MOVEMBER CANCELLED!!!
We regret to let you all know that MOVEMBER has been cancelled due to noise issues at the Whitesands.
We will be rescheduling the show (though not as Movember) for December and dates will be officially confirmed over the next week. Stay tunes to xtortya.com and all of our other sites for more info
